In this class, we’ll learn from an expert stage designer as he unpacks the basic principles and a few tips to help you get better design out of this powerful software.

Learning Objectives: 

1. Learn an introduction to Vectorworks Spotlight including an overview of tools, layout, best practices and shortcuts you’ll use on every day.
2. Gain insights on how to organize, plan and engineer your new set/lighting designs to best communicate your ideas to leadership while increasing efficiency during set build.
3. Identify how to use pre-existing fixture libraries and make your own regular elements to speed up the design process and make stunning new set designs.
