Have you heard about online community? Still confused on what that means? We’ll discuss what online community is, how you can use it for discipleship, and how you can use online communities to reach new people in your community.
Learning Objectives:
- Identify and/or create your church’s online communities—Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, GroupMe, iMessage, etc.
- Create a plan for how you want to engage with these communities.
- Engage in conversations with your church community.
- Encourage dialogue by asking questions about their own personal experiences with faith, religion, spirituality, etc., and share more about yourself as well.
- Identify and/or create online communities for people in your community around specific interests or the community itself.
