In 2017, everything changed for Wireless microphones. Again. The FCC sold off specific bands of certain wireless frequencies that affect wireless microphones. In this panel we’ll look into how this affects the church, and how we can get ahead of the changes, while saving money and creating solutions that can stand the test of time.

Learning Objectives:
1. Attendees will understand exactly what the most recent spectrum sale means for the wireless mic spectrum, how the usable number of frequencies is shrinking and what we do about that.
2. Class participants will learn how to correctly design and deploy a wireless mic or IEM system that will work reliably week after week in spite of the shrinking spectrum.
3. Students will learn the key elements of a proper wireless system; frequency range selection, frequency coordination and antenna choice and placement.
